About the Game

ORBITAL ABYSS : CIPHER DIVISION

You are Junior Cipher Agent Alex Yates stationed aboard a remote station on the edge of charted space, Eremite Station. Though small, the Cipher Division is responsible for intercepting and decoding messages from several factions. This position is largely administrative as the Alliance has enjoyed peace with its neighbors for over a century. However, should a conflict break out, Eremite Station may just find itself at the center of it.

Cipher Division is a choose your own adventure style narrative set in a distant sci-fi world. Progress the narrative by decoding substitution ciphers and speaking with your crewmates.

DECODING CIPHERS

Messages are encoded via substitution ciphers. Work to decode them using the tools as your disposal. Once the messages are unveiled, you will learn the secrets they hold.

CONVERSATIONS WITH CREWMATES

Though on the edge of charted space, Eremite Station houses other crewmates you can converse with. Send and receive messages on your terminal to learn about them and how their stories are unfolding within the station’s walls.

MULTIPLE ENDINGS

The choices you make aboard Eremite Station matter. How you speak with your crewmates, who you trust, who you believe, these choices will lead to unique outcomes and affect the world around you.
