Omenwheel

About the Game

Fate spins. You set the odds.

Omenwheel is a roguelite RPG autobattler about a samurai and his living roulette wheel. Between battles you collect and reforge cards and decide what goes on the wheel. When the fight begins, the wheel spins on its own: every sector is an action, and every chance comes from your build.

Build the wheel

  • Draft action cards (strikes, magic, guards, tricks) and pick the ones you take into each battle.
  • See the exact odds of every sector before you commit.
  • Reforge your cards at the forge: they may get stronger... or worse.
  • Grow your samurai: buy gear in the shop, raise health and wheel places at the stat forge, take boons from soul shards.
  • Find synergies: chain Extra Spins, stoke the forge's fire, squeeze "Nothing" off the wheel.

Watch it ride

  • The battle plays itself: the wheel picks, your hero acts.
  • Extra Spins chain into combos. One lucky streak can end a fight in a single turn.
  • Your wheel is alive: it talks, cheers and sulks at bad luck.

Enemies who cheat

  • Enemies spin wheels of their own and tamper with yours: curses, forced sectors, hidden threats.
  • Bosses change form mid-fight. At half health Muramasa becomes the Forge Demon, and his whole wheel changes with him.

A road of omens

  • Every run builds a new chapter map. Omens mark the branches with fire, smoke or a curse.
  • Spin the event wheels: the stat forge, a pact at the Red Oath altar, a rest by the embers.
  • Gamble your coins on the shop's Plinko machine.
  • Beat a boss to claim a soul shard's boon and unlock a new wheel companion.

The story

Mythic Edo. The samurai Ren has lost his soul: it was split into shards and handed to guardians. With a sentient wheel at his side he sets out to take it back, starting at Muramasa's cursed forge.
