Office God is a satirical incremental game played entirely inside CorporateOS Professional 98, a fictional operating system where every promotion brings new software, new responsibilities, and another reason this meeting could have been an email.

Start as an intern with a nearly empty desktop. Turn manual busywork into automated production, build a team, climb the corporate ladder, and eventually found a company of your own. Keep growing until the universe becomes an administrative problem.

An entire career on your desktop.

Drag windows, juggle applications, and watch your workspace fill with newly unlocked programs. Career reviews, company finances, research, and acquisitions all arrive through obsolete office software. Beige panels, pixel icons, hold music, and distant photocopiers accompany your rise to power.

Your desktop grows with your ambition. The paperwork grows with both.

Make yourself increasingly unnecessary.

Process emails, develop your skills, and decide where to spend your limited Focus. Invest in automation, hire employees, and delegate the work that once demanded your personal attention.

Build departments, fund research, and appoint managers to manage your managers. Balance payroll, morale, and output as your operation expands. Production keeps running when you close an application, with up to eight hours of offline progress while you're away.

Find opportunities between meetings.

Respond to corporate inbox events, trade stocks, study for professional certifications, and spend your salary in the Company Store. Take on risk assessments or reconcile working spreadsheets to give your progress a hands-on boost.

There is always something productive to do. There is also your calendar.

Resignation is a career strategy.

Leave a job with Experience to spend on permanent perks, then begin your next career with a head start. Found companies to earn Equity and invest in lasting advantages. Acquire competitors and build an empire that outgrows the ordinary definition of a business.

Eventually, your responsibilities extend beyond the planet—and beyond reality itself. CorporateOS still expects you to file the appropriate forms.
