About the Game

A small island, hidden from the world, is dying. What was once thriving - warmed by a volcano, sustained by a god - has collapsed under the weight of its own violence and greed. Three factions tear at what remains: warriors who rule by strength, elites who hoard Heat, and a fanatical hidden order that the others dare not speak of. And caught between them, a pacifist people on the brink of extinction.

You are one of the last. Pacifist by nature, nimble by necessity. You have watched your people dwindle from hundreds to a handful, and you have had enough. You do not know what you are called to do. You will find out.

A Souls-Like Built Around Two Resources

Heat is the lifeblood of the island. Found in crystals buried beneath the earth, coveted by every faction, and replenished only slowly over time, it is the power everyone is fighting over. Your body generates its own Heat through combat, granted by the god Nonu himself. Unlike the corrupted Heat that fuels your enemies, yours feels different. Pure. You do not yet know why.

Every action costs Stamina - a resource that regenerates, but must be managed carefully. Exceptional moves spend Heat, and in desperate moments, Heat can flow back into Stamina - turning the tide when it matters most. Even your jump draws from your reserves. Spend wisely, and you survive. Spend recklessly, and the island takes you.

Your enemies are not passive. They have their own corrupted access to Heat, generated periodically and used intelligently. They will outnumber you. They will pressure you, respond to spacing, and choose attacks that force mistakes. You must do the same.

Wield the Flame, Master the Fight

Your body is your only weapon - its fiery power a gift from Nonu, and your only instrument of war. Every combo chain is a distinct tool for damage, positioning, stagger, or escape. Some hit hard and slow. Some are quick and precise. Some apply status effects, some create distance. Mastery of your options is what separates survival from defeat.

Nonu's combat rewards patience and reading your opponent. Every action must be followed through - survival comes from commitment, not panic. The jump is a genuine tool: use it to avoid attacks, reposition in a tight spot, or drop onto enemies for a stolen moment of respite. Bosses will demand your full understanding of every mechanic at your disposal.

Nonu's Power is Yours to Shape

Spend your Nunem - hard-earned from fallen enemies - across four attributes, each with its own passive tree:

• Constitution - health and defense

• Endurance - stamina and recovery

• Tenacity - status buildup and pressure

• Spirit - Heat generation and recovery

There are no direct damage upgrades. Your output is a product of how well you build, and how well you play.

Explore a Hand-Drawn World of Faith and Ruin

Nonu’s island is a single connected world, riddled with secrets, shortcuts, traps, and hidden paths. Every environment, character animation, and effect is hand-drawn to bring its violence, devotion, scarcity, and ruin to life.

Scattered across the island are Machin - talismans from a lost age, self-sustaining artifacts that draw on Nonu’s power without understanding it. Machin are more than upgrades: they can reshape how you fight, alter specific Heat abilities, and open distinct build paths.

Explore villages, scavenger routes, monastic spaces, volcanic strongholds, and forgotten corners of the island as you piece together how a hidden paradise sustained by a god began to die.
