About the Game

Tiny tanks. Big decisions.

NeoTanker is a turn-based tactics game about reading the board before you move. Every unit has a job, every tile changes the odds, and every turn is a small puzzle you can actually solve.

Move, then commit

Units step square by square, never diagonally, so a flank is something you plan two turns ahead. Forests hide you, mountains shield you, roads carry you further. The ground you stand on decides how hard you are to kill.

An army that makes sense

Infantry take ground. Bazookas punish armour. Artillery shells from a distance and never fires back. Heavy tanks break a line, jeeps rush a gap. Helicopters, bombers, submarines and battleships join the fight on maps with air and sea. Fuel and ammunition run out, so a long push has a price.

Capture the map

Factories, cities, ports, airports and headquarters. Take them with infantry, spend the income on the units you actually need, and starve your opponent of theirs.

Play your way

• Against a robot general that keeps its artillery at range and does not wait politely while you set up.
  
• Against a friend at the same computer.
  
• Online, in real time or one turn a day, with a clock that adapts to the size of the battle.
  
• Fog of war and one-move mode, where each turn is a single move like chess, are a switch away.

Learn, then sharpen

A short campaign teaches one thing at a time: moving, capturing, firing, income, long range, air power. Puzzles put you in a real position with one turn to find the move that changes everything. After each game, the analysis shows the turning point, and you can replay any key moment on the board.

Draw your own maps

A full 3D map editor. Paint terrain, place buildings and armies, mirror or rotate for fairness, test it, then play it online with anyone.

Play with people

Add friends, message them, invite them to a game in one click. A public chat, a chat in every online game, rematch when it ends. Your Steam account is your NeoTanker account: no extra sign-up.

The NeoVerse

A second, living world inside the game, in real time: the western Mediterranean at real scale, on real terrain. Walk it with your general, found a city, and let your robots mine while you are away. It grows with every update.
