My First Birthday is a short, story-driven indie game (pixel RPG Maker game) where you play as a one-year-old baby who sets out to prepare her own first birthday celebration—without help from mom and dad.

But this is no ordinary birthday party. The game centers around the Korean tradition of doljanchi, a meaningful first-birthday celebration that symbolizes a child’s health, future, and family’s hopes. Inspired by real Korean customs, you’ll take part in preparing traditional elements such as rice cakes (tteok), choosing a beautiful hanbok, setting up the ceremonial dol table, and sending out invitations to loved ones.

Explore a small, cozy town, meet kind strangers, and complete gentle quests rooted in Korean cultural traditions. From gathering ingredients to reflecting quietly in a museum about heritage and history, every step becomes part of a warm and personal journey toward this once-in-a-lifetime milestone.
