Myth-OS

About the Game

Step into a universe where your most creative ideas meet a living, breathing simulation. MythOS is an AI-driven systemic sandbox that merges the infinite freedom of a Tabletop RPG with the complex mathematical depth of a Grand Strategy epic. It doesn't just "generate text"—it simulates a persistent, deterministic universe where every choice you make ripples through a physical database.

The MythOS Engine: Anchored in Truth

Myth-OS solves the "AI memory" problem by anchoring the narrative to a custom Entity Component System (ECS). While the AI acts as your cinematic Game Master, the underlying engine enforces the physical rules of reality.

  • Object Permanence: The world does not "forget." If you lock a cursed artifact in a specific vault in a specific city, it remains there across hundreds of hours of play.

  • Systemic Consequences: The AI narrator is guided by the engine's "Ground Truth." If a city’s grain supply is burned, the market ledger mathematically reflects the shortage. The AI sees this data and narratively interprets the resulting bread riots, starving citizens, and deserting soldiers. The simulation provides the "truth," and the AI provides the "voice."

Architect of Reality: Rewrite the Laws of Existence

Myth-OS allows you to redefine the fundamental systems of your universe in real-time. You aren't just playing a game; you are designing its laws.

  • Total Stat Control: You are not limited to "Strength" or "Intelligence." Rename your attributes or add entirely new ones like "Sanity," "Qi," "Corruption," or "Processing Power" and dictate exactly how they impact the world.

  • Custom Progression & Breakthroughs: Design your own leveling curves and "Breakthrough" requirements. Define exactly what happens when a character grows—from simple stat boosts to profound spiritual, technical, or biological evolutions.

  • Manifest Spells & Skills: Create your own abilities from scratch. Define their resource costs (Mana, Stamina, Energy), cooldowns, area-of-effect, and specific physical impacts on the world database.

The "World-Mind": Autonomous Sovereignty

While you forge your own path, the world never stops turning. Dozens of autonomous organizations—empires, merchant syndicates, and ancient cults—operate continuously in the background, driven by a "World-Mind" AI.

  • The Three Pillars of Power: Every faction pursues a specific survival mandate: Political (territorial sovereignty), Mercantile (industrial monopolies), or Societal (cultural and religious influence).

  • Feudal Intrigue & Coalition Rebellions: Manage complex webs of fealty where vassals have their own hidden agendas and "Grievance Timers." If a lord grows weak, cruel, or bankrupt, disloyal vassals will form secret coalitions, auditing their collective strength against their lord to stage a coordinated rebellion for independence.

Shadow Politics, Sabotage & Viral Rumors

True power is often silent. Myth-OS features a deep Espionage System for those who prefer to dismantle rivals from the shadows.

  • Sow Dissent: Target the loyalty of rival officers. Use bribery or psychological manipulation to increase their grievances until they defect to your cause, resign in protest, or plunder the state treasury before fleeing.

  • Shadow Control: Wealthy mercantile factions can initiate "Shadow Control" over political states, using financial leverage to turn sovereign kings into corporate puppets.

  • Information Warfare: Sabotage critical infrastructure, steal secret technologies, or use the Rumor System to spread viral truths or dangerous lies. News of your deeds—or your scandals—travels through NPCs across the map based on a viral propagation logic.

A Living Interdependent Economy

Myth-OS features a true supply-and-demand simulation where every item has a physical origin and a logistical path.

  • Market Ledgers: Prices fluctuate hourly based on local stock, global scarcity, and current events.

  • Physical Logistics & Trade Routes: Goods do not teleport. Caravans and freighters physically move resources across the map. Blockade a trade route to starve a rival of iron, and watch their weapon production—and their ability to recruit new units—physically collapse.

  • Vocations & Input-Output Crafting: NPCs have professional roles—Producers, Merchants, Researchers. Producers require specific material inputs to create outputs. If the supply chain breaks, your master smiths go idle and your markets go dry.

Tactical Combat

  • Use an infinite variety of abilities, spells, weapons, and attacks: Combat is fluid and dynamic on a tactical map grid. You can generate images for your tactical maps or use the generated map grids to engage in combat with a plethora of enemies. Use positioning, well timed spells, and all manner of attacks to defeat your foes. The game has support for attack spells and martial skills, Buffs/Debuffs, AOE attacks, Advantages/Disadvantages, etc.

Event-Driven Job & Career System

Climb the social ladder through a job system triggered by the actual state of the world simulation.

  • Reactive Contracts: The notice board is not random. If a town is starving, the engine generates a Supply Run mission. If a bandit group appears on the map, a Bounty is posted. If a faction needs to move sensitive data, a Courier contract appears.

  • Career Advancement: Take ambient contracts to earn currency and reputation. Work your way from a commoner to an official, gaining Authority Ranks that unlock new diplomatic powers, social privileges, and the right to command armies.

The Social Matrix & Information Hierarchy

NPCs are simulated social actors with memories and varied access to information.

  • Information Hierarchy: Knowledge is tied to status. A High-Noble has access to state secrets and global diplomatic news, while a local Peasant knows the gossip of the streets. Your social standing determines what information NPCs are willing to share with you.

  • NPC Recognition: Characters remember your past deeds, your name, and even your visual identifiers (like specific scars or gear). Their trust, fear, and sentiment toward you are mathematically tracked and impact every interaction.

Tactical Warfare & Strategic Command

Victory is determined by the quality of your leaders and the logistics of your state.

  • Strategic Stances: Command your armies or fleets using specific stances: Aggressive (territorial capture), Raider (pillaging resources), or Passive (defense and garrison).

  • Officer Talent Scores: Every commander has a unique Talent Score derived from their attributes and experience. A brilliant strategist can enable a small force to rout a massive, poorly led horde.

  • Sieges & Pathfinding Intelligence: AI armies utilize Terrain Intelligence. They recognize hazardous zones, utilize bridges, and evaluate the defensive strength of walls before initiating a long-term siege to annex enemy territory.

Vessels, Mounts & Modular Refitting

From starships to war-steeds, Myth-OS features a comprehensive Vessel System integrated with the world's physics.

  • Logistics & Fuel: Vehicles consume fuel based on distance and speed. Getting stranded in deep space or a barren wasteland becomes a high-stakes survival scenario.

  • Modular Refitting: Customize your fleet. Slot items into specific hardpoints: Drive (engines/speed), Structure (hull/HP), Defense (shields/armor), and Hardpoints (weapons/ballistae).

  • Pilot Synchronization: Assign NPCs or yourself as pilots. The vessel’s performance is directly impacted by the pilot's skills and the quality of installed components.

Infinite Hierarchy: Galaxies to Guest Rooms

The world is a nested physical hierarchy with scale-aware physics.

  • Recursive Scaling: Zoom out to manage a Galactic map or a Continental Kingdom, then drill down seamlessly into a specific city street or the private chambers of a manor.

  • Environmental Hazards: Scale matters. Terrestrial units without "Space-Capable" tech will physically suffocate in a Vacuum zone, while aquatic units are restricted to liquid currents.

Total AI Freedom (BYOAI)

Myth-OS gives you total control over how you power your Game Master.

  • Cloud Freedom (BYOK): Plug in your own API keys (OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter) to utilize the smartest cloud models available, paying only for what you use.

  • Cloud Pass: Potentially, an optional subscription provides seamless, plug-and-play access to our hosted high-end AI endpoints.
