Building system

Build your own unique tavern from the ground up - from laying the foundation to placing the tiniest table decorations for your guests. Design the layout your way: split space into rooms for different purposes, set the mood with lighting, and expand both indoors and outdoors. Grow your place into something special and compete with other NPC-run establishments.

Fun fact: the game features more than 300 placeable items.

Cooking

Cook unique dishes using ingredients you grow on your farm or discover out in the world. Some ingredients give meals special effects. Different types of workbenches and cooking stations let you create more complex recipes - boosting your profits and your tavern’s rating.

Exploring

The world of Mystic Tavern is filled with diverse biomes, distinct locations, and little references to find. Explore the land, learn its lore, uncover secrets, and solve mysteries and puzzles along the way.

Time of day matters: a location’s danger—and the kinds of secrets you can uncover there—can change between day and night.

Day cicle system

Mystic Tavern is our debut game, built by a couple under the Bubba’s dev brand. It’s important to note that we’re not treating it as a one-off release: we want to keep developing the project further, build a lively community around the game, improve quality, expand content, and add new opportunities as it grows - listening to the community. We really want to create a little island of that cozy game dev, where a game is made by gamers for gamers.
