MR.E
About the Game
You wake up in a storage room full of crates.
Your optics flicker online. Your chassis responds to commands you don’t remember learning. A door stands ahead.
On your chest: MR-013 - numbers scratched out, an E spray-painted over it.
The ship you are on, the Kopernik, is silent.
Its AI is not.
Something is wrong with it.
And something is wrong with you.
Somewhere, a voice is calling your name.
A Mind Trapped in Metal
MR.E is a story-rich, turn-based adventure puzzle game about identity, autonomy, and what survives death.
Fragments of logs. Corrupted recordings.
A name that feels familiar: Edward Clay.
Lead ethicist on the Human-Computer Cognizance Interface project. He tried to expose something. He didn’t survive the attempt. Someone performed an emergency upload. Now a human consciousness may be trapped inside a maintenance robot.
And the man responsible might be living inside the ship itself.
Turn-Based Survival
Movement is deliberate. Every step costs power.
Inspired by minimalist grid-based puzzle design, MR.E blends tactical movement with environmental systems:
Reroute energy through failing infrastructure
Rotate signal arrays to unlock sealed sectors
Decrypt fragmented research logs
Avoid hazards caused by an unstable AI
Use the environment - or be used by it
Over 40 handcrafted rooms escalate in complexity as the ship itself becomes less predictable.
Power is limited.
Choices are not.
Not Just a Puzzle Game
MR.E is built around conversation and consequence.
Speak with Sophie - your only ally, or your handler
Decide whether to save the poisoned chief medical officer
Trust the engineer who wants to burn the whole system down
Choose whether the AI deserves rescue… or mercy
Your decisions unlock different paths and determine which ending becomes possible.
