Monsters & Banknotes
Monsters & Banknotes
About the Game
Every monster has a price. You decide its worth.
Borrow the money. Rent a little shop on a rain-soaked backstreet. Buy, breed, raise and sell monsters, turning bloodlines, reputation and the right connections into your next deal.
Monsters & Banknotes combines monster breeding and raising with shop management in a criminal underworld. Walk the streets, talk to customers, find the right creature for the job and name your price.
Build a bloodline worth buying
- Discover 141 species. Weigh innate stats, pedigree, rarity, colour variants and unusual traits when choosing what to buy and breed.
- Uncover 69 mutations and hidden special pairings through rumours. Raise and appraise each new arrival, then plan the next generation.
- Choose skills and tactics for one-on-one arena bouts. Titles increase a monster's value. Sold monsters live on under new owners and can cross your path again through tournaments and events.
The right monster. The right customer. Your price.
- Listen to customers, recommend a suitable creature, demonstrate its abilities and negotiate the deal.
- Arrange cages and equipment, expand your shop, and hire a sales clerk to handle sales while you are out.
- Build trust through regular customers and branching requests, and earn your place at the annual grand auction. A monster born in your shop can still earn you a breeder's prize after it is sold.
Business has an underworld
