About the Game

MODERN CRISIS is a classic-style real-time strategy game about modern warfare — built for anyone who misses the golden age of base-building RTS.

Raise your headquarters. Send out your engineers. Build an army, and lead it to war.

But every choice has a price. Your workers are scarce, and they're split across four resources — money, iron, oil and research. Every worker you send to the mines is a worker who isn't raising your next airfield. Here, economy IS strategy.

⚔️ TWO ARMIES, TWO DOCTRINES

• USA — expensive, durable, high-tech. Abrams armour, F-35 stealth fighters, F-15 Strike Eagles, the F-22 Raptor, and the devastating A-10 airstrike.
  
• CHINA — cheaper, faster, overwhelming. Swarms of suicide drones, ballistic missiles, siege attack balloons, and a navy built for numbers.
  
• A third faction — Russia — is already in development.

🌍 WAR ON LAND, AIR & SEA

Every domain matters, and every unit has a counter. Bring the wrong mix and you will lose.

• Stinger Teams are the only infantry that can touch aircraft.
  
• Helicopters shred ground forces — but can't fight jets.
  
• Submarines hunt only each other and capital ships.
  
• Cargo vessels land whole armies on enemy shores.

💥 UNLEASH YOUR SUPERPOWER

Charge your national superpower and trigger it at the perfect moment — A-10 strike runs, reinforcement armies, drone swarms, ballistic missile pads, and permanent economic edges that can turn a losing fight around.

🎮 A MODE FOR EVERY PLAYER

• Skirmish — battle up to 3 AI opponents across four difficulty levels, from readable-and-beatable to genuinely vicious. The largest maps hold up to 8 armies.
  
• Survival — you and an allied AI hold one base against escalating waves of attackers. Claim resource supply drops and last 30 minutes to win.
  
• Game Modes — play it straight, or switch it up with No Rush (a peace timer before the fighting starts) and More Resources for faster, bigger battles.
  
• Save & Load your skirmish campaigns and pick up right where you left off.

🤝 FIGHT YOUR FRIENDS

Deterministic lockstep multiplayer over Steam. Host a match, invite a friend straight from your Steam list, and go to war — head to head or together against the AI.

🛠️ BUILD YOUR OWN BATTLEFIELDS

A full in-game map editor puts the battlefield in your hands:

• Paint mountains that actually block movement.
  
• Carve lakes and seas that demand a navy.
  
• Place resource fields, props, and per-player starting bases.
