About the Game

It is the year 1500. Until now, you have been among the vast mass of propertyless citizens of Augsburg. The death of your uncle in Einbeck has left you his trading post there, 20 barrels of beer, and a welcome sum of 500 Taler. It is up to your business acumen to make the most of it. Your abilities will lead you either into the high nobility - or into the debtor's tower.

Step into the era of Charles V and Jakob the Rich! Fight your way through the thorny world of medieval merchants! Multiply your wealth and pave the road that leads you from poverty to nobility!

Mittelland AD Origins is a revised version of the 1988 Commodore 64 classic "Fugger", with several bug fixes, stripped of all non-historical references to the Fugger family, and brought up to date for modern Windows systems.
