About the Game

MeloMisterio is a platformer where you overcome obstacles and aim for the goal, but its unique feature is that the sounds of your actions become melodies—and you use those melodies to control mechanics.
This creates a new musical experience where you can play an action game and perform music at the same time.

Satisfying actions where sounds become melodies

In MeloMisterio, every action—such as jumping and dashing—has two assigned buttons.
One plays a note one step higher than the previous note in the melody, following the scale. The other plays a note one step lower.
By combining them, the notes move up and down, creating a melody.

This system makes every input feel satisfying, creating an improvisation-like play experience.

Mechanics you control with the melodies you perform

Raising and lowering the melody is not just about making sounds.
In some sections, you move mechanics by changing the melody—such as shifting fences and lifts up/down or left/right, or rotating them.

Perform melodies and open the path to the goal.

Various musical interactions & effects that deepen the experience

There are many other musical interactions and effects beyond melody-controlled mechanics, such as walls that move in rhythm and musical notes that play a counter-melody when collected.
