MAGOSTOP

MAGOSTOP

About the Game

MAGOSTOP is a roguelike deckbuilding game inspired by Go-Stop, a Korean card game derived from Koi-Koi. Create your cards, combine Benefits, and shout "GO" to multiply your score. But be warned: the moment greed takes over, the board can flip in an instant. Don't miss your chance to STOP.

Endless Choices

Craft valid cards, complete Sun, Moon, and Ribbon sets, and combine Benefits with special cards to create powerful synergies. Simply raising your base score won't be enough. In MAGOSTOP, cards are more than just scoring material. Some count as two, while others hint at an upcoming explosion. Remove, copy, change suits, and refine your deck. A single small change can completely alter the outcome of your next GO.

  • A roguelike deckbuilding card battler inspired by Korean-style card games.

  • Build hands using Sun, Moon, and Ribbon sets with modified playing cards.

  • Ever-changing combinations of Benefits, special cards, and card processing in every run.

  • Various special card types: Silver-foiled, Gold-foiled, Ash, Ice, Tick-Tock, and more.

Shake the Board

The board in MAGOSTOP never stays quiet. Gain unexpected opportunities with a Kiss, and blow up the board all at once with a Bomb. Cards that belonged to your opponent a moment ago can become your score, and cards you thought were safe might be snatched away in the next turn. It is not just about playing good cards. It is about deciding which cards to keep, which to shake, and when to steal from your opponent.

  • Special mechanics like Kiss, Ppuck, and Bombs that shift the flow of the game.

  • A tense tug-of-war where you steal cards back and forth.

Can You Go One More Time?

In MAGOSTOP, having good cards is just the beginning. The real massive scores start with a GO. The key is deciding how far you can push. You can play it safe, STOP, and prepare for the next round. Or you can shout GO one more time to explode your score—but the next card might ruin everything.

Will you stop?

Or will you go once more?

Test your luck and skill.

  • A risk-taking scoring system centered around GO and STOP.

  • The intense tension between choosing safety or chasing a higher score.
