Escape a shifting prison where darkness rewrites the maze. Find the key, choose your fate, and descend, if you dare, into depths where even greater dangers lurk.

LUCERNA is a MULTIPLAYER dark fantasy/Grimdark dungeon crawler where your only hope is to keep your candle flame alive since every step in the dark deals damage and reshapes the architecture around you, transforms corridors, awakens threats, and opens shortcuts that didn't exist before.. You start imprisoned, so gather items, solve impossible routes, and choose between fleeing to live another day or push forward into the unknown.
With every decision, the dungeon changes and so does your story.

  • PROCEDURAL Living labyrinth: The map reconfigure in darkness; a safe path can become a trap when the lights go out or vice-versa. New enemies, new items can be spawned as soon as you leave a zone in darkness.

  • Critical choices: immediate freedom or a descent into more dangerous zones with better rewards and secrets.

  • Light management: you have a limited light source, Thrive to keep your flame alive or you will perish in the dark.

  • 2.5D: Most creatures are inspired by comic-book art, graphical novels, so all the art is done by Comic-book local artists to give a unique and fresh perspective to the game experience.

  • Replayability: seeded generations, events and bosses that vary each run for fresh combinations of paths and dangers.

  • Progression: Everybody starts as the base class "The Wretched", complete challenges, puzzles, get achivements and level up your character to unlock more classes and perks.

  • Fast-Paced Gameplay: Every game session is thought to be fast, unique and self-contained. Although you level up your character, each run you start fresh with the possibility of choosing new unlocked classes, or perks to help you reach a deeper level of the dungeon, in a rogue-lite style.
