Ride the wind. Find your own way.

Lone Sands is a single-player surfing and exploration game set in a vast procedural world. Carve across dunes, catch an ocean swell, or let a wind current carry you above the ruins. There is no quest to finish. Choose a direction and ride.

Make the landscape your line

Ride with a wind-sail or switch to a kite. Pump through linked turns, launch off a crest, and open your wing to glide. Combine grabs, spins, flips, grinds, and wall rides. Clean tricks build a speed boost that carries into the next part of your run.

Beyond the dunes

The desert gives way to ocean, snow, and ice. Explore ancient cities, aqueducts, salt flats, deep canyons, and islands suspended above the clouds. Cross a storm front, follow the coast, or watch the light change from golden hour to a sky full of stars.

Wander at your own pace

Step off the board to explore on foot, dive beneath the water, or take to the air. A night atlas records the places you discover. Change your rider's outfit, board, and canvas, then find another stretch of world to make your own.
