About the Game

One market. Everyone in it.

No rooms, no matchmaking. Every player trades the same stocks in the same market at the same moment. Your orders sit in a real five-level order book, and your trades move the price, just like everyone else's.
Price action is drawn from real historical market data, but every stock name, company and news headline is fictional.

Trade like it's real

  • A full trading day: opening auction, continuous trading, closing auction, then the market closes for review.
  • Limit and market orders in lots of 100 shares, T+0 (sell today what you bought today), with commission and stamp duty.
  • ±10% daily limits: when a stock locks limit-up or limit-down, you queue like everyone else.
  • Intraday and daily charts, order book, positions and open orders. 20 fictional stocks per round; after 30 trading days positions are closed out and your money carries over.

Lose money, with receipts

  • The bank lends any time at 0.4% a day (about 146% a year), compounded. Borrowing doesn't make winning easier. It only makes losing faster.
  • Voluntary bankruptcy: nobody forces you out when your equity goes negative, so hold on as long as you like. When you've had enough, sign the satirical Grind Contract, clear your positions and debts, and start over.
  • Real and fake news: headlines land during the day and some of them are fake; the truth comes out after the close. You can pay to post a market rumor yourself. Call it wrong and your name goes up on the Debunk Wall.
  • Messages that don't mean well: the bank inviting you to buy the dip on credit, a stock-picking service asking for a subscription... None of them move prices. They only tempt you. Turn them off in Settings if you like.

Want a say in where prices go?

Between rounds, bid in a sealed auction for an operator licence. Each winner picks one stock and gets a special loan to accumulate, pump and unload it. Whether anyone shows up to buy is another matter, and operators lose too.
No licence? Hold enough of a stock and you become the big money that moves it.

Review and rankings

  • After every close: winners, losers, bankruptcies and the Debunk Wall, a replay of the day, and every one of your trades.
  • Rounds are ranked by return. Gains, losses and debts all carry into the next round.
  • 28-day seasons award coins and tiers, from Seedling to Apprentice Operator. Plus a Career P/L board and the Loss Kings board.

Cosmetics

Coins only buy cosmetics: chart skins, avatar frames and name effects. They change how things look, never any number.

Notes
