Ironfields
About the Game
Ironfields is a single-player RTS about capturing the battlefield, not building a base from scratch.
Each mission starts with key structures already placed across the map. You capture them, repair them, defend them, build towers around them, upgrade your units, and decide when it is finally safe to push forward.
The pace is slower and more tactical than a typical click-heavy RTS. You are not meant to win by fast reflexes. You win by holding the right positions, surviving constant pressure, and using the tools each mission gives you.
Capture key buildings
You do not build a traditional base. Instead, you fight for factories, power plants, satellites, and other strategic structures already placed on the battlefield. Every building you secure changes the balance of the mission.
Survive constant enemy pressure
The enemy does not wait for clean scripted waves. It keeps sending units, forcing you to defend, repair, reposition, and slowly turn the map in your favor.
Use airstrikes and towers to break stalemates
Some defenses cannot be pushed through by tanks alone. Build towers, upgrade your units, and call in airstrikes when you need to destroy a key target or open a path forward.
Ironfields focuses on tactical decisions, map control, and hand-crafted single-player missions inspired by older RTS games.
