In The Vroms In Clones
About the Game
A police officer finds himself trapped in a strange cycle upon arriving at the station. Rooms, conversations, and events repeat endlessly. Every time he walks through a door, he returns to the same spot, encountering subtle anomalies in reality. His challenge is to unravel the mystery behind the cycle and find a way to escape the infinite loop. Designed as a casual distraction, the game features horror elements, character dialogue, music, and mild jump scares. It does not feature intentional horror sequences or interactive enemies; the main focus is spotting differences in the environment across repeated iterations—essentially a "spot the difference" game. The game hints at a story unfolding within the setting, but since it is a loop, this narrative thread never progresses and simply repeats itself; the priority remains identifying environmental variations.
Gameplay involves walking, jumping, and interacting with notes and doors in the environment; it can be played using only a mouse and keyboard. Although developed by a Brazilian, the game is entirely in English, featuring both voice acting and subtitles.
