About the Game

Imperium is a single-player 4X space strategy game about building a civilization among the stars. Begin with one colony and a single home star, then expand across a galaxy of alien worlds — researching exotic science, designing your own fleets, and bending rival empires to your will through diplomacy or open war. Every game generates a new galaxy, a new balance of power, and a new empire to call your own.

Colonize a Living Galaxy

• Explore procedurally generated galaxies ranging from a dozen systems to well over a hundred.
  
• Settle planets, moons, and asteroids — each with a surface you develop tile by tile.
  
• Construct more than 50 surface structures and orbital installations: factories, laboratories, hydroponic gardens, defense towers, embassies, and more.
  
• Terraform hostile worlds and uncover ancient ruins left behind by a vanished civilization.

Design Your Own Fleets

• Engineer warships from the keel up across five hull classes, from nimble scouts to colossal capital ships.
  
• Combine more than 90 components — power cores, drives, scanners, shields, and an arsenal of exotic weaponry.
  
• No two commanders fly the same fleet. Two players using identical hulls can wage completely different wars.

Research Exotic Technologies

• Advance through a tech tree of more than 60 technologies, from your first orbital shipyard to galaxy-spanning megastructures.
  
• Harness serious, far-future science: gravity manipulation, frequency-based weaponry, and exotic physics.
  
• Crown your empire with mega-projects — encircle a star with a Dyson Sphere, or bridge the void with a Starlane Gate.

Rule Through Diplomacy or War

• Share the galaxy with 21 playable species — Veylilith, Phasaryn, Oculari, Litharrak, and many more — each with its own homeworld, fleet aesthetic, soundtrack, and signature ability.
