Hexscapes
About the Game
Hexscapes is a hex tile-placement puzzler inspired by cozy games like Dorfromantik. If you enjoy quietly assembling beautiful spaces at your own pace, this is your kind of game.
You have two decks of tiles: one for landscapes, one for buildings. Landscape tiles form the foundation of your world as forests, rivers, fields, lakes, and mountain ranges come together into a single living map. Building tiles are placed on top, fitting residential blocks, shops, parks, and farms directly into the terrain. Mountains, lakes, and the layout of buildings on each hex are procedurally generated, so no two sessions look the same.
The strategy here is not about conflict but about harmony. The better you match landscape borders and zone your buildings, the more points you score and the longer your world survives. Special objects set specific conditions: a commercial district wants to border a residential area of the right size, a farm thrives on open flatlands away from the city. Complete a condition and earn new tiles to keep building.
The game ends when both decks run out. But every new session brings a different landscape, different objectives, and a different high score to chase.
