About the Game

Hexalith is a strategic sci-fi city-builder where you expand a glowing hex-grid colony by placing resource and city tiles. Plan your layout, complete missions, and aim for the highest score where each run offers a new path to optimize and explore.

Start With Choosing Your First City Blueprint

At the beginning of every run, you choose one of three carriers and blueprints associated with them, which will help you get started (each carrier has different resource multiplier).

Pay attention to the simulation point goal of missions because each blueprint grants different simulation points and costs different amounts of resources.

Place Resources, Build Cities, Complete Missions

Expand your colony using resource tiles, gradually unlocking the ability to place city-tiles. Cities generate Simulation - Sim Points, helping you fulfill main and bonus missions.

Smart tile placement matters. There are 11 unique city-tiles currently in the game, but you can hold at most 8 at one point, each with their own adjacency effects that reward thoughtful planning and synergy.

You can also vertically upgrade cities if you place them in certain patterns!

Main missions grant new city blueprints upon completion and while failing a main mission ends the current game, side missions are completely optional and offer resource multipliers or bonuses.

Use the Shop to Evolve Your Strategy

Between turns, you gather resources which can be traded in for shop currency.

Shop allows you to do the following:

Buy new permanent city blueprints

Buy one-time-use city blueprints

Buy refresh if you're unsatisfied with current available choices

(Selection refreshes every 5 turns for free)

Shop wisely to unlock stronger city placements and push your score even further.

Survive World Events

Every few turns a different world effect will happen that will bring its own penalties.

Make sure to plan ahead for them in order to maximize strategy.

Compete on the global leaderboard

While you can finish your run and win by reaching 50k score, you can continue playing in order to compete on the leaderboard.

Reach the highest score and put your name on top!
