Heathen

About the Game

Heathen is a dark fantasy dungeon crawler that harkens back to the “one town, one dungeon” formula, as seen in classics like Diablo (1996). Battle monsters, grow stronger, and uncover powerful magical items. Seek refuge in the town of Saltgrave, restock your supplies, then venture back into the keep—each time pushing a little deeper.

Character Classes

Choose your class and forge your own playstyle: the ruthless Mercenary, the cunning Cutthroat, or the power-hungry Acolyte. Shape your character by investing in attributes, equipping weapons and armour, and mastering spells. You will need every advantage to survive the horrors below.

The Dungeon

The dark keep is a labyrinth of twisting corridors, procedurally generated alongside the monsters and loot within. Each descent offers new challenges, unexpected encounters, and the chance to uncover rare and powerful items.

Atmospheric Horror

Heathen brings true horror back to the ARPG mix. The deeper you descend, the more the world distorts. The air thickens with the stench of death. Unspeakable creatures crawl through the darkness. You are nothing more than a flickering lantern in the void.

The Town

Saltgrave is the beating heart of Heathen—a refuge for broken souls who have all but lost hope since their once noble lord fell into despair. Each carries a story, fragments of a past best left buried. They will reveal their truths… if you would but stay a moment and listen.
