About the Game

In You must evolve it! Incremental, you play as a robot that awakens in the year 2300, alone in the middle of a silent wasteland, seemingly long after the collapse of human civilization. The only structure that still stands is the one you were reactivated in.

After rebooting your system, all that remains are corrupted files, fragmented memories, damaged functions, and a single basic protocol instructing you to take care of a creature. Beyond that directive, you have no clear answers about your purpose or the world around you.

You begin harvesting different resources from the barren environment, each with its own unique use, slowly transforming the desolation through the construction of strange and enigmatic structures. As your network expands, the environment starts to evolve alongside the mysterious organism connected to the central structure, gradually revealing links to the forgotten past of this world.

After the beginning, you won't be alone on this journey anymore. To help you gather and produce resources more efficiently, you'll gradually spawn different life forms from specific structures along the way. These strange hybrid entities, part biological and part mechanical, will take care of specialized tasks such as production, transportation, research, and resource management.

As your network expands, each new organism will contribute to the growth of the environment and the evolution of the mysterious creature nested within the central structure.

As you progress, you will gradually uncover the story by recovering corrupted data logs and fragmented memories lost by the robot during its long sleep. These scattered pieces of information will slowly reveal what happened to the world, how civilization collapsed and what role the central structure once had.

The deeper you explore, the more questions will emerge about the true nature of the creature connected to the structure and the purpose of your mission.

However, this system isn't only aesthetic or lore driven. Recovering information and advancing through the narrative is also tied to tangible gameplay rewards, unlocking new possibilities and speeding up your overall progress.

As the system continues to evolve, progress will gradually slow down, and new forms of growth will become necessary to keep advancing. Restarting a cycle is not simply a reset, but part of the evolution process itself. Each new iteration forces you to decide where to allocate your resources and allows the system to expand further, unlocking permanent upgrades, new possibilities, and faster progression. All your decisions will lead you to the end of this story.
