About the Game

THE STORY

Zero Falls, the Midwest, 199X

Outside the doors of their school after the final bell of the year, four friends gather to plan their summer break. The first choice is the Video Rental Store. Inside, they find a mysterious console called the Gutsy-Bit. With some convincing, the store clerk, initially reluctant, allows them to rent it. Bringing it back to their usual basement hangout spot, they turn it on and are instantly teleported to a mysterious world where the Gutsy-Bit can channel awesome power via Carts. With their newfound power, these four friends become the last hope to thwart a sinister plot threatening two worlds.

GAMEPLAY

Gutsy Grid is an Action Deck-Builder. Battles are real-time with grid-based movement. Enemies don't wait for turns to attack!

When the Gutsy-Bit's charge meter is full, it can be loaded with Carts to access dozens of unique abilities to deal damage, build up armor, and tilt the grid in your favor.

Carts are awarded at the end of battle and can be purchased in shops to fill out a Deck. Various carts can form effective combos.

Carts can even be ejected as a simple projectile attack. Charge energy can be recouped by Parry Steps - dodging an enemy projectile at the last moment!

Battles are chained together in a series called a Run. Over the course of a Run console Mods can be acquired which possess powerful passive abilites.
