About the Game

Chiaroscuro Lovers is a narrative-focused visual novel.
Players experience the story through the eyes of Chu Hebai, a woman who has lived overseas for many years and suffers from psychogenic blindness caused by psychological trauma.

Her return to her long-abandoned homeland is triggered by a funeral—
a journey that brings her face to face with a past she has avoided, a web of complicated family ties, and—

a presence known as the “Lamplighter,” who has always stayed by her side.

Story

When reality becomes too blinding,
the mind chooses to veil the world.

When memories grow too heavy to bear,
consciousness creates its own “light.”

In this story, you will move between:

• A reality shaped by family, power, and conflicting interests
