Grix

Grix

About the Game

Grix is a grid-based roguelike set in procedurally generated dungeons.

The player is thrown into an unknown dungeon where all tiles are hidden, and must overcome unseen threats through deduction and choice.

Even without complex controls, you can experience the core addictive appeal of the roguelike genre.

Unknown Dungeons, Prediction Is Survival

All dungeon tiles are hidden at first, and what lies within them cannot be known until you step inside.

Through repeated runs, players learn the game’s rules and begin to predict the placement of enemies, treasures, and safe zones.

In Grix, growth is not only about character stats, but also about the player’s own judgment.

Every Choice Has Consequences

There is never only one way forward.

Will you charge ahead and risk danger?
Will you spend gold to reveal tile information?
Will you dig through walls to create an alternate path?

Every movement produces immediate results, and a single misjudgment can quickly turn into a crisis.

Classic Roguelike Structure and Permadeath

Dungeon layouts, enemy placement, item locations, and starting positions are newly generated each run.

Death resets your progress, but the knowledge and understanding gained through repetition deepen each new attempt.

Defeat the Boss and Move On

Each area is guarded by a powerful boss and a key.

Only by defeating the boss and obtaining the key can you advance to the next unknown dungeon.

As regions change, their rules gradually evolve, forcing the player to interpret the unknown once again.
