About the Game

ASCII-driven Sci-Fi RPG GRIST is a table-top inspired roguelike and deck-building card battler. Delve into the tiered lands of the mysterious Shell-World Atropos, exploring it's cities, forests, oceans, and more. Fight against the nightmare plague that threatens the trillions of lives of Atropos, and search for its source in the heart of the planet.

GRIST draws on a heritage of table-top RPGs, gamebooks, and classic CRPGs from the 1980s, resynthesizing them into a glowing terminal-wave aesthetic with driving basslines, exploding ASCII particles, and a healthy dose of existential horror.
