Goth Girls vs The Goo
About the Game

The goo is spreading. The Ancestral Caves are being consumed. Someone has to stop it.
Goth Girls vs The Goo is a fast paced gothic action platformer built around one idea. Move fast or lose. Race through dark atmospheric levels, wall jump through tight corridors, dash past enemies, and outrun a spreading horde of goo that grows stronger the slower you are. One hit and you're dead. No second chances.

Deep beneath the surface lie the Ancestral Caves. Ancient sacred halls tended by the Bat Fae and home to the temples of Bahamut, the ancestral god of the old world.
The Goo Hivemind has invaded. Shapeless and relentless, it feeds on the latent magic of the caves and multiplies faster than the Bat Fae can contain it. The Bat Fae are powerful but small and meek. They need someone who isn't.
They called the Goth Girls.
Choose your fighter from a roster of goth subculture heroines. Descend into the caves. The Bat Fae are counting on you and the goo is already spreading.

This is not a game about careful planning or methodical progress.
It is a game about moving fast and feeling powerful. Wall jumping through tight vertical corridors. Dashing through enemies on invincibility frames. Bouncing off goo creatures mid-air with a spinning pentagram aura to cross a pit of deadly slime. Ceiling crawling through a dark cave while the Goo Spread Meter fills behind you.
The Goo Spread Meter is the heartbeat of every level. Slow down and it fills. The fuller it gets the more chaos waits at the end of the level. Move fast and you control what hunts you.
Every level is completable at any pace. The game rewards speed with something that feels like joy.

The SNES era got something right that modern gaming keeps trying to recapture. Tight controls. Expressive movement. Games that fit in your hands and never overstayed their welcome. Goth Girls vs The Goo is built entirely around that philosophy. Every mechanic designed for a six button controller. Every level designed to reward speed and mastery over patience and grinding.
Old soul. New bones.
