Glyph
About the Game
Spell. Score. Stack. Break the game.
Place tiles on a board. Spell real words. Watch your score explode. Glyph is a word game crossed with a roguelike deck-builder. Every word you play feeds a scoring engine and the glyphs you collect between rounds bend the rules of how that engine works.
1. PLAY WORDS
You get 4 words per round. Place tiles from your rack onto the board to spell words, horizontally, vertically, or extending existing words like a crossword. Longer words multiply harder. Every tile adds chips. Every bonus cell, glyph, and upgrade adds mult. Your score = chips x mult. Hit the target to clear the round. Miss it and your run ends.
2. BUILD YOUR ENGINE
Between rounds, spend gold in the Bazaar. Pick from 100+ glyphs that trigger on every word you play, vowel synergies, consonant combos, retrigger chains, coin flips, and scaling effects that grow stronger the longer your run lasts.
3. FIGHT BOSSES
Every third round is a boss. One zeroes your vowels. One disables your best glyphs. One deletes your highest tile after each word. Your build has to survive or you adapt on the fly.
4. BREAK THE GAME
By late game, a single word can chain through a dozen glyphs, retrigger tiles, cross-word bonus, and land a score in the tens of millions. That moment when your whole build clicks, that's Glyph.
