Glass Monsters

Glass Monsters

About the Game

Glass Monsters is a single-player first-person 3D survival shooter where every battle takes place in a procedurally assembled glass arena. You fight through constantly shifting spaces filled with transparent walls, domes, bridges, ramps, and other geometric structures, fend off waves of aggressive creatures, and search for safe ground where cover can stop being cover at any moment.

At its core, the game is about mobility and constant pressure. Accuracy matters, but staying alive also means keeping moving: running, jumping, managing stamina, changing routes, and reading the arena fast. The arena affects your tactics just as much as the enemies do. Some areas offer a brief moment of safety, others trap you, and the destructible glass environment gradually reshapes the flow of combat in the middle of each wave.

As you progress, you will fight through a series of levels with different architecture, lighting colors, and combat pacing. Some arenas focus on tight passages and sharp turns, while others are built around open spaces, vertical movement, and exposed routes. Enemy behavior also changes from one type to another: some overwhelm you in close combat, some attack from the air, others rely on leaps or ranged fire attacks. In the later stages, especially dangerous enemies appear that can break obstacles and force close-range encounters on their own terms.

The arsenal is built around combat roles rather than just damage values. One weapon is better for precision and controlling distance, another for sustained pressure, and another for heavy explosive shots with a separate ammo pool. Enemies can drop new weapons, ammunition, healing items, and rare pickups that temporarily change how the arena is visually perceived, helping you read the battlefield in a different way during combat.

The defining feature of Glass Monsters is the combination of procedural arenas, destructible glass environments, and dynamic transparency. Cover cracks and shatters into fragments, enemy and object silhouettes shift depending on the situation, and muzzle flashes and fire attacks make every encounter feel both beautiful and dangerous. This is not just a visual gimmick: the environment directly affects how you make decisions in battle.

The game is designed as a focused single-player experience: push deeper, adapt to each new arena, keep the weapons and ammo you have earned between levels, and survive increasingly intense pressure. At the same time, the game includes pause, save and load, difficulty selection, music volume adjustment, and interface language switching.
