You are Yosihide Mizuno, a painter.

You have been using the drowned corpse of your younger sister, Misao — who took her own life at a young age — as the subject of your paintings.

But lately, you've begun to doubt your own memories.

Was that serene, beautiful face truly what you remember it to be?

With your solo exhibition fast approaching, desperation drives you to undergo a strange form of hypnotherapy, said to let you vividly recall your memories—at the recommendation of a certain neurosurgeon.
