Gargantua

Gargantua

About the Game

  • Procedural and dynamic map:
Each session presents a new map made of procedurally generated planets.

  • Diverse playstyles:
Every level-up forces a choice. Focus on production, defense, management or pursue a balanced path.

  • Deep economy and political systems:
Dynamic supply and demand systems create opportunities to manipulate the market. Planets will trade and go to war among themselves.

  • Every action has consequences:
Selling weapons strengthens one side, while trading with the other side becomes more expensive. Unmet demands can clog logistics chains, while clearing pirates from space revitalizes the economy.

Gargantua is a city-building and strategy game with deep trading mechanics, set in a dynamic and complex universe filled with dozens of procedurally generated planets. Every trade, journey, and decision has tangible consequences.

Planets specialize in producing certain resources while demanding others depending on time and circumstances. Prices fluctuate based on global supply, available raw materials, and the difficulty of interplanetary logistics. If you monopolize a product, you can manipulate the market, hoard goods, inflate prices, and generate massive profits. But every product is part of a complex supply chain—shortages in one resource can ripple across industries and trigger large-scale crises.

Interplanetary travel is never safe. Defend your ship against waves of enemies as you travel through space. Build defensive towers on the deck of your massive spaceship—city. Every tower requires ammunition, and every shot must be produced in your factories or purchased.

Your economic decisions directly determine your military strength.
In Gargantua, economy and war are two sides of the same coin.

“War is profit.”
