SummitJourney

About the Game

Every summit starts with a choice.

SummitJourney turns a climbing trip into a series of small, practical decisions. Routes, supplies, and training shape your preparations. Weather, forks, and events change the situation along the trail. Help your cat make steady progress, and keep the return to camp in mind.

Assess the risk. Pack your bag.

Check the pre-climb assessment, choose a route, buy provisions, and pack within your carrying limit. Along the way, manage stamina, hunger, and mood as forks and trail events offer new choices. Higher-tier mountains can force a retreat. Reaching the summit is followed by the journey back to camp.

Different mountains. Different preparations.

Begin in the China chapter and gradually unlock journeys across all seven continents. Walk through forests, rocky slopes, and snow in stylized landscapes inspired by around 150 real-world peaks. Each mountain has its own elevation zones, weather preferences, and climbing traits. Day, night, and changing weather affect both the view and the journey.

Turn this trip into progress

Customize your cat climber, spend funds on physical training, and use stars for permanent upgrades. Meet animals, gather herbs, and fill the codex. Bring home mementos that record where they came from and what happened along the way, then choose a favorite to display.

Let the journey keep its rhythm

Climbs support idle play, offline progress, and automatic follow-on climbs. On the map or during a climb, switch to the transparent, always-on-top desktop-pet window and let your cat travel beside you. Other screens return to the main window. Automatic decision records let you catch up on choices made while you were away.

Find traces of earlier travelers

Discover ghost trails and treasure messages left by other players, or leave a trace of your own. These encounters happen asynchronously. Ghosts and treasures require an internet connection; signatures and messages can be reported.

SummitJourney includes asynchronous social features and user-generated content: ghost signatures, treasure objects, and messages can be seen by other players.

Stylized map — peak positions, coastlines and borders, plus vegetation and terrain descriptions, are not precise geographic information.
