Frozen Isolation
About the Game
The White Exclusion Zone was abandoned decades ago.
A research project collapsed under increasingly violent storm cycles, and the region was left to freeze. Now you’ve been sent back to re‑establish a small weather outpost and uncover whether the land is truly as unstable as the old reports claimed.
The terrain still shifts under every storm. Snowpack buries structures overnight. Landmarks appear and disappear as if the ground is rewriting itself. Locals once said the storms “reset the land.”
Gameplay Loop
In Frozen Isolation, your days revolve around keeping your outpost alive in a landscape that refuses to stay the same. You’ll venture out after each storm to search for structures the snowpack may have revealed overnight. Every action is physical: Pick up and move physical objects. You need to collect weather data before the next storm rolls in. As you expand your base, you’ll balance survival needs with the constant threat of the terrain shifting beneath you — forcing you to adapt, rebuild, and navigate a world that never settles.
Core Features
Dynamic, shifting terrain — storms reshape the landscape daily, burying or revealing structures as the snowpack moves.
Snow deformation — every step, tool, and impact leaves a physical mark on the world.
Base building with placeable prefabs — construct shelters, storage, workspaces, and functional structures wherever you choose.
Physical object interaction — pick up, place, drag, rotate, and manipulate items directly in the world.
Power system — connect generators, lights, heaters, and equipment to keep your base running.
Liquid pipe system — route water and other fluids through pipes to support crafting, heating, and survival needs.
Weather reporting for credits — collect storm data and transmit reports to earn credits you can use to order supplies.
Exploration with shifting landmarks — abandoned structures can appear or disappear as the terrain rewrites itself beneath the storms.
Grounded survival — manage warmth, hunger, thirst, health, and exposure in a harsh, unpredictable climate.
Additional Features
Severe storm events — whiteouts, high winds, and sudden temperature drops force you to adapt or take shelter.
Functional interior placement — install stoves, heaters, lights, storage, and inside your prefabs.
Day/night cycle — cold, quiet nights reduce visibility, drop temperatures, and make storms even more dangerous.
Scavenge and salvage — collect scrap, fuel, and materials from the environment and abandoned sites to keep your base running.
