Frowning Vermin
About the Game
HOW LONG CAN YOU SURVIVE?
Frowning Vermin is a chaos survival game where you fight against overwhelming numbers of enemies that never stop coming. At first it is just a handful of strange little creatures chasing you around. Then it keeps scaling. Hundreds become thousands, and before you know it there are over 10,000 enemies on screen trying to overwhelm you.
There is no finish line and no real end. The goal is simple. Stay alive for as long as you can while the map floods with vermin and the pressure keeps rising.
UPGRADE AND GET OUT OF CONTROL
Defeat enemies and collect XP to level up during your run. Each level gives you a random set of upgrades with different rarities, making every run play differently.
Upgrades stack and combine in powerful ways. Projectiles can bounce, chain lightning, split, or explode. Blades can spin around you nonstop. Movement can trigger destruction. If you survive long enough, your build can become completely broken.
But the longer you last, the stronger the enemies become.
THE SWARM PUSHES BACK
Enemies do not stay weak. As time passes, they mutate into faster, tougher, and more dangerous forms that are designed to counter powerful builds and keep the pressure high.
There are no scripted endings or final bosses. Just an ever growing swarm that tests how long you can hold out before getting swallowed.
PROGRESS EVEN AFTER DEATH
Runs are fast and intense, but failure still matters. Each run contributes to permanent progression, unlocking upgrades that make future attempts stronger.
Even a short run helps you prepare for the next one.
