Freedom is Piracy is a pirate adventure game focused on naval expeditions and narrative progression.
You play as a former Marine turned pirate, sailing hostile seas to challenge the Marine’s control and support the rise of a pirate city.

Prepare your ship, choose your crew, and set sail. Every journey follows a clear rhythm: preparation, confrontation, and return.

High-Risk Expeditions

Every expedition is a rising tension.
Raiding Marine ships draws attention. The longer you stay at sea, the more dangerous the situation becomes.

Merchant ships don’t fight back for long — Marine reinforcements will arrive.
Your ship’s storage is limited, forcing you to make quick decisions: grab the most valuable cargo and retreat before it’s too late.

Once you return to the city, the pressure fades.
Each expedition stands on its own — preparation, risk, confrontation, and escape, like a bank robbery.

Grow a Pirate City

Your journey always leads back to the pirate city.
What begins as a fragile survivor camp slowly grows into a living city as you return with resources from your expeditions.

New buildings appear, new pirates settle in, and narrative moments unfold as the city evolves.

A Crew of Characters

Piracy is not a solo journey.
Your crew is made of distinct characters, each with their own personality, past, and motivations.

Between expeditions, you can talk to them in the city, especially in the tavern, and uncover fragments of their stories as the adventure unfolds.
