Fools, Maniacs and Liars is a suspenseful narrative game set in China.

Background

• The story unfolds in the fictional ceramic county in southern Fujian—Wushan.

• Since ancient times, a giant Buddha known as "Mida" has stood upon Mount Wushan. Countless folk tales surround the statue—some even say Mida is alive.

• Then, one day in 2009, the Buddha vanished into thin air. And a half-century enigma was about to come to light.

• This is a realist tale shot through with magical realism and absurdity—a story born of a tumultuous age.

• Woven from layers of suspense and dark humor, the chronicle of the Wushan Great Buddha's demise begins.
