About the Game

First Age is a card-based strategy game set in the era of the cave-man centered around creating powerful synergies between your cards and obtaining enough points to survive the Dark Ages.

Shape unique settlement layouts that define each run in order to create varied strategies and builds.

Gather enough points to survive an Age as the world grows more hostile to your tribe, Build, Buy, Pray or Enhance cards to break the rules of gaining points and bend the world to your whim. Survive the final age and secure civilization for your Tribe.

Your tribe has one goal: reach the final Age. How you earn the points needed to survive is entirely up to you. Buildings, villagers, and animals all provide unique bonuses and adjacency effects that shape powerful settlements.

Combine cards to create powerful synergies every run. Build tall, expand wide, or invest everything into a single ultra-powerful card, and amplify these synergies with the hundreds of unique ways to keep your builds strong through the 8 main progression trees.

Connect cards adjacent, diagonal, left right or connect multiple cards to form a settlement altering combo.

Progress an array of potent paths; Science, Culture, Religion, Gold, Wood, Stone, Clay, Food and Loot. Use these versatile strategies to ignite a flame of combos and evolve your tribe, enhancing, inventing and converting your cave men to civilised beings.

Science- Invent new cards to grow your board, ranging from simple huts to great pyramids, built with the resources your people gather.

Gold- Skip the proverbial waiting line and purchase cards at the risk of the dreaded RNG, with cards that cannot be found anywhere else in the land if accessed enough

Culture- Breaks the rules and stack bonuses on your cards that redefine how your cards work, with an unlimited cap on how many culture cards can be stacked on a single card (all hail the culture max)

Religion- Instead of relying on your tribe, rely on the Gods; Convert your board state to play around your religious bonuses, ranging from growing trees to sacrificing your villagers to the Old Gods.

Each Age presents unique challenges and rewards. Some may be as simple as celebrating the winter solstice, while others force you to survive devastating plagues, ice ages, or droughts. The ancient world was unforgiving, and your tribe must overcome it.

With over a hundred unique ages, each run will always offer difficulty that will test your tribe.

Relics are a part of your tribe's legacy, with stories and choices shaping the rewards and ages that come.Save or sacrifice rival tribes you encounter, or find rare rewards; the choices are your own and shape your builds.
