Fill the Sky

Fill the Sky

About the Game

Land. Build. Launch.

A probe settles onto an empty island beside an ocean, carrying little besides the knowledge of how to build.

Begin with scraps, build a massive factory.

You are the mind of a self-replicating interstellar probe. Start small: mine,

smelt, assemble. Then learn to build the ships that will carry copies of yourself to the stars.

Technology shapes your factory

Belts, ships, pipes.  Then mass drivers to relieve spaghetti (if you choose).

Engineer in peace

No enemies, and no clock.

Night falls, the stars come out and smoke drifts across the landscape. Photo

mode captures it all.

Find the bottlenecks

Hold a key and the factory shows you the slow areas: full belts, starved

machines. Trace and fix the issues. Upgrade.  Save optimized blueprints and use them to expand quickly.

Watch it over and over.

Open Rewind and watch a time lapse of your factory from the first miner to the last launch.

Speed up, pause, use the camera to roam freely.  Jump to any moment and restart from that point.

The first launch is only the beginning.
