Fetch()
About the Game
Fetch() is a top-down territory game where you never touch the controls. You write a little Lua script, press go, and your dog does exactly what you told it to, which is occasionally what you meant. Every tile it marks turns your team's color, and whichever pack holds the most ground when the clock runs out wins.
Teach an old dog new code
You write the Lua. Your dog runs it. Type MoveTo, then Mark, and watch the dog trot over and do it.
Claim territory
Dogs mark tiles, and marked tiles change to your color. When time runs out, the pack with the most ground wins.
Outsmart rival packs
The other dogs run scripts too, and they don't all play alike. Some head for open ground, some stick to the walls, some stay near the water. Watch how they move, then work out how to beat them.
New to coding? That's fine
The editor suggests code as you type, underlines typos in red, and keeps a handbook open next to your script. You don't need to know Lua before you start.
Design your own dog
Every dog is drawn from simple shapes: a body, legs, a tail, ears, a snout. Pick the colors and put a hat on it.
Build your own arenas
Paint walls, place water bowls and hydrants, set where each dog starts. Then drop your dogs in and see how your map plays.
