Astral Trial

Astral Trial

About the Game

This is a cold, ruthless city ruled by 14 "Astral Guardians." And you are the only disruptor.

Pick up your cards, see through their intentions, and crush their rules!

Climb upwards until you overthrow it all.

⚔️ Fully Transparent Symmetrical DBG Combat

Breaking away from the traditional Roguelike formula where enemies rely on pre-defined scripts, this game features enemies sharing the exact same card logic as you: draw pile, hand, discard pile, and energy.

  • Full Information Transparency: You can see the enemy's draw pile size, hand size, and remaining energy in real time.

  • Dimensional Advantage: Not only can you precisely calculate damage and defense, but you can also tactically deplete the enemy's deck, read and destroy their hand, and even leave them with no cards to play.

  • Exclusive Relic Duels: Each elite and boss possesses exclusive relics similar to "hero skills." You need to understand and strategize against their unique combat personalities.

🌌 12 Independent Chapters, 12 Unique Card Pools

Say goodbye to lengthy single-run experiences. The game uses a streamlined "independent chapter system," with each chapter lasting approximately 30-60 minutes.

  • Unique Card Pool Construction: Unlock new card pools as you progress through the game, offering twelve distinct combat styles.

  • Zodiac Field Effects: Each of the twelve zodiacs has different field rules. For example, "Contract Transparency" allows both players to see each other's hands, while "Involution Law" penalizes the player who plays fewer cards, ensuring a fresh experience every chapter.

  • Starting Deck Advancement: Unlock starting decks of varying strengths as you progress, allowing you to experience complete playstyles without starting from scratch.

💔 Survival Through Death: Defeat is also part of the story.

A carefully crafted deck ruined by a single mistake? Not here.

  • Dual Health Bar Mechanism: Health (HP) is no longer the only limit; "Faith Points" will serve as your second health bar.

  • Narrative Penalties: Losing a battle doesn't result in an immediate Game Over. Instead, it triggers a unique penalty storyline and dialogue specific to that boss, consuming Faith Points to replenish health and continue fighting.

  • Meta-Progression: Regardless of victory or defeat, your resilience (maximum Faith) will be permanently increased, providing you with more starting relics and deck options for your next challenge.
