Forget building a deck over an hour—in Fame or Folly, you build it every minute. 

Every turn is a casting call: draft new cards from a rotating shop, trigger their effects, and fire the ones you don’t need. You are constantly managing your roster size and card quality. It is a game of rapid adaptation where you must pivot your build instantly based on what the shop offers. Draft smart, fire often, and don’t get attached to your cards.

Established by the Emperor to maintain peace, the Grand Festival is the heartbeat of the realm. In this world, applause is currency, silence is death, and a well-timed chord strikes harder than a claymore. You start in the mud of village squares, leading a ragtag caravan, but your eyes are set on the marble floors of the Royal Court.




To survive the critics and the cutthroat economy of prestige, you must master the synergy between five distinct classes. It is a delicate balancing act of TroupeCraft:

  • Minstrels: The backbone of your show, generating the raw Score needed to pass the level.

  • Vendors: Generate Coin to fund your constant recruitment of new talent.

  • Mystics: Use arcane Abilities to bend the rules of the stage.

  • Outcasts: High-risk, high-reward performers who bring massive Multipliers.

  • Wardens: Essential for mitigating the rising Tension before the crowd riots.

Combine these performers with over 100 Banners—rare artifacts that fundamentally change the rules of your run—to create explosive, screen-shaking combos.

The stakes are absolute. The winner of the Grand Festival is granted a single, binding Request from the King. It is a prize that Kings covet and Nobles scheme for, and they need a champion to claim it.

You are playing for Patronage. Every village you impress and every Noble you dazzle brings you one step closer to the capital. But be warned: push the crowd too hard with “Folly” and you’ll be booed off the stage. Only the boldest plays will secure the Fame necessary to stand before the King.
