About the Game
Fakutori is a relaxing automation game that’s easy to pick up and hard to put down. Place your machines, discover new elements, and watch your factory grow in ways you never imagined. Whether it's your first factory game or you're already an expert builder, Fakutori's infinite world and constraints-free gameplay will satisfy that automation itch!
If factory games have always looked interesting but never felt approachable, Fakutori is your way in. Just don’t be surprised at how deep the rabbit hole goes…
Start with the four building blocks of everything: Fire, Water, Earth and Air. Put them together and watch them turn into something new – then combine those, and keep going. Straightforward at first… less so when you're making things you didn't know were possible!
Some blocks will interact with others in surprising ways. What happens if you drop a Wood block next to a Fire block? Or let a Shooting Star fall on top of an Earth block? There are over 100 elements hiding in here, each with its own recipe and its own quirks, and filling out your compendium is no small feat. Every one you find opens something new.
Once you know what you're making, let the machines take the strain. Combiners, programmable pushers, conveyor belts - each one makes sense the moment you see it, but string them together and you've got a production line humming away. Build it neat, build it sprawling, build it however you like. The world is infinite and there's always another machine to unlock, so there's no reason to ever stop.
Here's the part nobody mentions at the start - Fakutori goes further than you'd think. Push deep enough and you'll craft the concept of Time, summon mystical magic blocks, or even build a factory that runs on souls. And if you go deeper still? Lock nine Antimatter blocks into a grid and behold - you've just made a black hole!
And then there are the Legendary Blocks, possessing powers beyond mere elements. Discover the old prophecies, decipher them, and prove the stories are true! No pressure. (Maybe a little bit. A healthy amount of pressure.)
You won't be doing all this alone. The wakas are your tireless little workforce - loyal, well-meaning, and every so often up to no good. Fakutori has a whole cast of them, each with their own story, all wrapped up in the search for the Legendary Blocks and the secrets of their world... and themselves.
Or you could just ignore all that and focus on building your factory. Your choice, really. (A certain waka who shall remain anonymous wouldn't mind the free time)
We think you'll love Fakutori if you enjoy…
