About the Game

Evercoil starts with a familiar problem: eat an apple, get a little longer, try not to hit your tail. Then another snake cuts across your path, a volcano wakes up, and the way out is on the wrong side of your own body.

It's an endless Snake survival game where growing gives you more room to explore and more ways to get yourself into trouble.

Give yourself room to grow

Eat food to grow and open up more of the arena. Thread through narrow passages, slip through portals, and leave yourself a way back. Every extra segment makes the next turn a little trickier.

Make your own traps

Rival snakes share the arena. Some keep their distance, some guard their patch, and others come straight for you. Cut off their escape and use your body to box them in against a wall. A long snake can be a very useful problem for someone else.

Keep something in reserve

Chests hold powers you can save for when you need them. Slow time, phase through a wall, or use a jump to get out of a bad spot. Obsidian lets you cut straight across lava while it lasts. Unlock more powers between runs and decide what deserves a place in your limited inventory.

You'll need the help. Lava spreads, volcanoes throw fireballs, and rival snakes get faster and more dangerous the longer you survive.

Come back with a plan

Keep the gold you earn and spend it on permanent upgrades between runs. Add health, carry more powers, or open up larger arenas. Then try again, beat your best score, and see how far that next run takes you.

There is no final wave. Keep eating, keep moving, and try to leave yourself an exit.
