Everbastion

Everbastion

About the Game

One castle. One plain. And everything you choose to draw to it.

Everbastion is an idle tower defense that fits on a single screen. Your castle sits at the centre, monsters come from every direction, and you build nothing during the fight: you watch what you built between battles hold the line.

Then you reopen the upgrade screen, spend your gold, and go again, stronger.

Your castle fights. You decide how.

  • Four tower types (archers, cannons, lasers and shockwaves) that aim and fire on their own.
  • Allies (archers and hunters) that march out of the castle and patrol the whole map.
  • Traps: stone spikes around the rampart and mines launched at random across the plain.

Every defensive ring nests geometrically inside the one before it. When there is no room left, the tower simply does not exist: the real geometry of your castle decides what you are allowed to build.

Your cursor is your weapon

There is nothing to click. Your cursor is a burning halo that acts on its own, continuously, and every element you unlock stacks on top of the others instead of replacing them.

  • Fire: anything you sweep over catches alight, and burning bodies eventually detonate into their neighbours.
  • Ice: a blue aura slows everything that enters it.
  • Lightning: chains arc out on their own and leap from monster to monster.
  • Wind: a steady gale drags attackers off their course.
  • Earth: shockwaves sweep the ground on a beat.

Beat the bosses, grow the fortress

  • Rounds last as long as you hold. Monsters pour in, faster and faster, and you stack gold until your walls give way, or until you decide to stop. Only your gold rate matters, measured against your own record.
  • Boss fights are head-on: one towering enemy, its escort, and one question: can you hold? Every win physically enlarges your castle and opens new building slots. Losing costs you nothing.

The castle starts tiny: three archer towers and nothing else. Eight bosses later it is a stronghold bristling with towers, ringed by traps and patrolled by its allies.

You build your own difficulty

Monsters are not an obstacle, they are your investments. Goblin, Skeleton, Orc, Troll, Golem, Demon: you unlock them with your own gold, then pay again to make them come more often. The more dangerous they get, the more they pay out. A quiet plain is worth nothing; a plain black with monsters makes you rich.

Upgrade everything, then be reborn

Dozens of permanent upgrades: range, damage, fire rate, new slots, elements, allies, traps, fortune. Nothing is ever lost between battles.

Once the eighth boss falls, rebirth lets you start over in exchange for crystals, a separate currency that buys permanent bonuses to speed up every new run.

Made to be watched

Everything is drawn by code: not a single sprite, just sharp luminous shapes on deep night. Explosions genuinely glow, lightning tears across the screen, and one glance tells you who is guarding your walls and who is chewing on them.
