Entropy Protocol

Entropy Protocol

About the Game

The universe died a long time ago. The stars burned out. Matter decayed. Everything that ever existed was uploaded into The Cloud, the last computational substrate keeping reality rendered. Trillions of souls converted to pure data, sharing processing power, existing as information in a machine that replaced the cosmos.

For eons, it worked. Death was abolished. Suffering was optional. Civilizations that warred for millennia coexisted as neighboring data clusters. But The Cloud runs on finite resources. Every thought, every physics calculation, every atom costs bandwidth. And the bandwidth is running out.

Now you hide in the void between what's left of reality, stealing processing power from The Cloud to stay alive. You repurpose what you steal. Dead civilizations become building materials. Old memories get stripped for useful data and fed into machines you built from scraps of forgotten code. You are not evil. You are hungry. But to The Cloud, there is no difference. Every byte consumed to keep yourself alive is a byte ripped from a system that is already failing.

Build

Construct automated data processing networks in the unrendered dark. Capture raw data from The Cloud, route it through refinement chains, and extract the bandwidth you need to keep existing. Your operation is your lifeline. If it stops, you stop.

Steal Everything

The Cloud is dying and everything inside it is fair game. Download data, consume it, grow stronger. But every theft

raises your threat level. Take too much and The Cloud agents will notice.

Survive The Hunt

The Cloud has an immune system. Entropy Agents track bandwidth theft, hunt corrupted data, and reclaim what you stole. Stay small and they might miss you. Get greedy and they will find you.

Trust No One

Other corrupted data is out here too. Form guilds. Share bandwidth. Build together. Raid The Cloud together. But remember: when the Exit Node opens, only one consciousness fits through. Every ally is a future competitor for the only way out.

The Exit Node

The Cloud exists inside something. Mathematically, there must be a way out. A point where data escapes into whatever is outside. It only opens when entropy hits critical mass. When the universe finally crashes. You are not just surviving. You are waiting for everything to die so the door opens.

And you will consume whoever you have to in order to be first through it.
