Emanet - Kalanların Hikayesi

About the Game

What others leave behind

14 November 1987, Datça. Çağdaş is the clerk at the harbour's lost-and-found counter. Umbrellas, keys, cassette tapes, things nobody ever came back for… Each one has an owner and a story.

His own story sits in the desk drawer: a postcard Elif gave him years ago, with a single line on the back: "Someday, together." In 1980, Elif simply didn't show up. No goodbye, no word. Seven years have passed.

You run the counter

Compare: The claim form on the left, the item in the middle, the ledger on the right. Do the serial numbers match? Is this person allowed to collect it?

Decide: Who gets the item, who has to wait, who you can trust. A wrongly released item never comes back.

Get by: Your wage, rent, meals and heating fuel all come out of the same wallet. Let your record slip and you lose phone calls; let it hit zero and you're dismissed.

Be remembered: People don't forget how you treated them. Someone you help today may open a door for you tomorrow.

Elif's trail

A name, a bird sticker, a day someone still remembers… Match the date on an old tape against photographs, lay letters from 1980 side by side. An old address may not lead to today's door. Every lira spent on extra calls and your own search comes out of the counter's budget.

A small town, a long wait

A story set in 1987 Datça, under the southwest wind and rain

Townsfolk who each bring their own troubles to your counter, with side stories along the way

A finale shaped by your decisions

A promise made at Deveboynu Lighthouse
