Elf Sabotage

Elf Sabotage

About the Game

Overview

In this asymmetric 2D multiplayer game, up to four player-controlled elves must blend into a bustling crowd while secretly sabotaging gifts, all while under the watchful scope of a sniper Santa.

The elves move alongside CPU-controlled workers, mimicking their behavior to avoid standing out. Their goal is to sabotage enough gifts to win, but every act of sabotage risks exposure. Santa, perched with limited ammunition, must carefully observe the scene, identify suspicious behavior, and eliminate every player elf before they complete their objective.

Every round is a tense game of observation, deception, and restraint. Hesitation can be just as deadly as acting too soon.

Asymmetric Multiplayer

One player takes on the role of Santa, wielding a sniper rifle and scanning the scene through a scope. Up to four other players control elves hiding in plain sight among AI workers. Each side has completely different abilities, information, and win conditions.

Blend In or Be Found

Elves must move, idle, and behave like normal workers to avoid suspicion. When sabotaging gifts, they perform a unique animation that can reveal their identity if Santa is watching closely. Timing, positioning, and misdirection are key to survival.

Limited Information, Rising Tension

Santa constantly scans the level, but bullets are limited. Every shot must count. Elves receive subtle feedback when Santa’s gaze drifts close, creating moments of panic and bluffing as both sides try to outplay each other.

Win Conditions

  • Elves win by successfully sabotaging a required number of gifts.

  • Santa wins by identifying and eliminating all player elves before they succeed.
