Dying for Parts

Dying for Parts

About the Game

FIGHT. SCAVENGE. EVOLVE.

You are discarded tech waking up in the Junkyard a brutal, illegal robot fighting ring. Your only purpose is to survive endless waves of scavenger mutant machines that hunt you for parts.

Dying for Parts is a high-skill vertical movement shooter where every maneuver mutates your weapon. Master infinite movement combos and a massive arsenal of upgrades to dominate the arena.

MOMENTUM IS FIREPOWER

In this arena, your shooting mechanics are linked to your physical state. All movements whether sliding, falling, or wall-running, modify your weapon’s behavior.

Chain unlimited movements together to stack massive speed buffs. Maintaining this "Flow State" allows you to move across the arena faster than the enemy can track.

THE ROGUELITE LOOP

Between waves, you must scavenge unstable upgrades from fallen rivals to patch your chassis and enhance your systems.

Install temporary hacks and modified parts found in the scrap. There are hundreds of passive and active upgrades to create unique builds every run. If the options don't fit your build, search the salvage for a chance at better components.

Death is merely a data reset.

Use accumulated scrap to unlock permanent skill trees, discover new chassis modifications, and access deeper layers of the Junkyard’s history.

ADAPT OR BE SCRAPPED

The Junkyard is infested with specialized mutant machines designed to counter specific strategies. You will face aerial drones that force you to the ground, heavy bruisers that demand vertical flanking, and swarms that punish stationary play. You cannot rely on a single strategy. Analyze the enemies, adapt your movement, and exploit their weaknesses before they overwhelm you.

THE JUNKYARD

The arena is a vertical hellscape built from the corpse of the old world. You will fight across towering stacks of compressed metal, cars, and electronic parts. Use the verticality to your advantage, grapple to the highest tower for a sniper's vantage or slide through the claustrophobic trash compactors to escape the machine onslaught. The map is not just a backdrop; it is a playground for speed and a weapon against the swarm.

Welcome to the arena. Try not to rust.
